Boeing 737 Max 9 Takes to the Skies on Maiden Voyage
A Modernized Version of a Tried-and-True Aircraft
Single-Class Economy Configuration Can Carry Up to 220 Passengers
The Boeing 737 Max 9, a modernized version of the Boeing 737-900ER, soared into the sky for its first flight on April 13, 2017. The aircraft, part of the MAX family of aircraft, features a longer fuselage than the MAX 8 and replaces the 737-900.
The 737 MAX is the main variant of the Boeing 737 family, with the MAX 9 being one of its most popular models. As of late 2023, over 306 units of the 737 MAX 9 have been ordered.
Configured with a single-class economy layout, the 737 Max 9 can accommodate up to 220 passengers. Its modern design and efficient engines make it a fuel-efficient and comfortable aircraft for short to medium-haul flights.
