Retired Bulls Star Michael Jordan Inks Deal to Sell His Highland Park Mansion

Chicago Bulls Legend Parts Ways With Lavish Estate

Iconic Residence Hits the Market

Basketball legend Michael Jordan has officially listed his sprawling Highland Park mansion for sale, marking the end of an era for the iconic property.

The palatial estate, which Jordan purchased in 1991 for $2.6 million, has been meticulously maintained and boasts an impressive array of amenities. Set on 7 acres of manicured lawns, the residence features a custom-designed basketball court, putting green, and tennis court.

Inside, the mansion unfolds over 56,000 square feet of living space, boasting 9 bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, and an array of luxurious amenities. The grand foyer leads to a formal dining room, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a great room with soaring ceilings.

The master suite is a sanctuary of its own, complete with a private sitting area, his-and-hers bathrooms, and a walk-in closet that rivals a department store. Additional bedrooms are generously sized and offer private en-suite bathrooms.

The lower level of the mansion is dedicated to entertainment and leisure, featuring a home theater, a billiards room, and a wine cellar. Outside, the sprawling grounds include a heated swimming pool, a pool house, and a serene pond.

Jordan's decision to sell the property comes as he enters a new chapter in his life, having recently retired from his successful ownership of the Charlotte Hornets. While the sale price has not been officially disclosed, industry experts estimate it to be in the tens of millions of dollars.

The listing of the Highland Park mansion is a significant event in the Chicago real estate market. The property has been a landmark for decades, and its sale is sure to attract interest from buyers worldwide.
